The user interface of Quartz software was specifically thought in order to allow a good information visibility and this, even in full sun.

Its interface is able to adapt itself automatically to all screen formats, both mode, portrait or landscape, some resolutions, 1/4 VGA or upper.

Accessibility

The software writing area makes it possible to do without stylus. This displaying mode allows an effective seizure, because simple pressure on screen enable the alphabetical or numerical virtual keyboard, which use most space of screen.

Performance & Reliability

The Quartz software speed results from the use of our own data base engine. This engine stores simultaneously your data on the mobile device internal memory and a removable Flash memory (Compact Flash or Secure DIGITAL).

Routes navigation

In order to simplify as well as possible the meter reader job, Quartz integrates many tools to find your data, by running on customer cards, by chart, or by real-time filter (information on the customer, full or partial meter serial number, meter status, messages…). Moreover, route navigation is extremely simple by our exclusive system “NaviBar”.

Advanced meters management

In addition to the traditional meter reading, Quartz is able to manage installations, removes and exchanges of meter.

Investigation management

In order to allow an additional valorization of the metering, Quartz implements a mechanism of investigations management, fully configurable, which can be specific or permanent. Thus, it will be possible to carry out surveys on water quality, on water house equipment in subscriber's house (lead connection, copper connection,…). These investigations can be created from Tourmaline.

Wireless reading

Quartz is equipped with a powerful system allowing wireless reading. Three reading methods are available: the meter by meter mode, the semi-automatic mode and a fully automatic mode. In order to guarantee the oldest investments compatibility, it's possible to use simultaneously several wireless technologies in the same route.

Peripherals

Always in order to help the user, peripherals like printers and bar code readers come to complete the suggested solution.
